The Mendon Community School District is located in St. Joseph County in southwest Michigan. It is a small, rural district with approximately 700 students in preschool through 12th grade. The administration and teaching staff are committed to providing the best possible education for the students in a safe and secure environment.

The core curriculum provides students with a variety of learning experiences and a solid foundation for continued growth and development in college or the work force.

Mendon Community Schools serves the community of Mendon and portions of Leonidas, Centreville, and Three Rivers.

Girls Basketball District Games


Our Lady Hornets defeated the Colon Magi 39-27 to win the District Title. The girls will play St. Phil on Tuesday in the second Regional Semi Finals in Vicksburg. Come out and support this great team! Go Hornets!

Wrestling State Finals Update


Skyler Crespo State Champ 125 lbs

Skyler defeated the defending State Champion 3-1.  Nik and Wyatt placed 4th and 5th place, respectively. A great finish to a great season – way to go!!

 Wyatt  will be wrestling for 5th place, Nik for 3rd place and Skyler will be wrestling in the finals on Saturday. HORNET TRAINED!

Nik Andaverde , Skyler Crespo, and Wyatt Cool all win their Round 2 match, and advance to the Semi-Finals tonight. Stay Strong!!

Juniors Wyatt Cool (score 20-5) and Nik Andaverde (score 13-4) win 1st Round matches. Freshman Skyler Crespo pins his opponent in the first period. While fellow Freshman Emmett Bingaman suffered a 2-6 loss; he wins round 2 with a Pin but loses in the next round.  Best of luck these outstanding athletes!
